Here's our very first post. I named this blog Our Heart's Desire (I can do that since I started it. haha) . From everyone that I've been talking to lately, it seems that we all have a desire to draw closer to Christ, to go deeper into his word, and to grow more conformed to HIS image!
I'll be posting a bible study topic soon...with a web link. It won't take a whole lot of your time. I think we'll just give ourselves a week to get it done, and then I'll begin a post and we can all add our thoughts to the topic. Sound good?
I gave this blog the web address www.the-time-thats-left.blogspot.com (I think that's it.) I tried to choose other things, but they were taken. No matter. I took that from a Mark Schultz song which, if I listened to it daily, would probably make a big difference in my outlook on things and what I spend my time on (and yes, that means limiting time on here, for all you smarty pants friends of mine!)
I've played it for you before, but I'll add a link here, so that you can listen. It's the first song on my playlist.

What will you do with the time that's left
Will you live it all with no regret?
Will they say that you loved till your final breath?
What will you do with the time that's left?
Oh, Hallelujah!
Oh, Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Amen
What will you do with the time that's past?
Oh and all the pain that seems to last?
Can you give it to Jesus and not look back?
What will you do with the time that's past?
Oh, Hallelujah!
Oh, Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Amen
What will He say when your time has come?
When He takes you into His arms of love?
With tears in His eyes will He say well done?
What will He say when your time has come?
Oh, Hallelujah!
Oh, Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
(Lord be present in all my ways, help me follow You all my days oh Father God)
Amen
What will you do with the time that's left?
Will you live it all with no regret?
Will they say that you loved till your final breath?
What will you do with the time?
So...what are your thoughts? First question: What will you do with the time that's left? What are the things in your life in which you desire change?
Looking forward to hearing from you all.
